This is actually the first picture I drew for Econ and Namu. They were the first characters originally designed to be on the cover. Why I refer to this picture as "baby pictures" is how I drew the characters compaired to say... the lastest comic. You notice that on Namu at least that the "puffs" or the hair that jets out the side of his head as you want to refer to it... are actually much lower on the face then on later pages. If growing up was a factor of design in this case, you could say these puffs move up the face as the characters grow better chins. Go figure.
